Mapping Human Trafficking Networks in the Americas
In partnership with the Organization of American States (OAS)—the oldest regional organization dedicated to promoting peace, security, and cooperation across the Americas—Traverse Project is launching TRACE, a groundbreaking initiative to quantify the human trafficking crisis and map the infrastructure of transnational criminal organizations (TCOs) profiting from it. By working closely with law enforcement and analyzing both active and historical cases, our team has developed a scalable process that delivers concrete data to policymakers, uncovers critical trends, and provides actionable intelligence. TRACE aims to drive greater awareness and enable targeted interdiction efforts that disrupt trafficking networks at their core.

As we identify target criminal networks, Traverse Project will work alongside law enforcement and international partners to formulate strategies that disrupt financial flows and shut down supply chains, facilitate victim rescue, and ensure trafficker prosecution. This comprehensive approach promises significant strides in combatting human trafficking on a global scale.
